Character's Name: Fay Prewett.
Character's Gender: Female

Character's Appearance: Tall with rather gangly limbs and a friendly look, Fay seems like a generally likeable person. She has a very large grin plastered across her face more often than not, and gives the impression of being very easy going and relaxed. Her hair is dark blonde, which appears lighter in the sun and tends to be tossed back off her face, looking slightly windswept. She and her brother take after their father and managed to avoid the family trademark of red hair. Fay doesn’t really care all that much about her appearance; she was blessed with pretty decent genes and so doesn’t tend to fuss over what she looks like. Her skin is quite pale with a small dusting of freckles. Though she’s quite active, the sun doesn’t tend to affect her complexion. She’s far more likely to be seen hanging around outside or messing around than actually sitting down to read. High, light eyes combine with her clear skin to give her a youthful and innocent appearance, which is accurate…mostly.

Character's History: The Prewett family are a relatively new Pureblood family. Perhaps because they haven’t been around for that long or perhaps because they aren’t all that rich, the name of Prewett doesn’t command the same respect among the older Pureblood families. Nevertheless, they are quite content with their circumstances. Fay grew up in a small house on the outskirts of London with her Mother, Father, Older sister, Molly, and her twin, Gideon.
Fay and Gideon are fraternal twins, though Fay is four minutes older and has taken on the role of the leader between the two siblings. The two are very close, they seem to exist, bouncing off each other. When they were younger, they’d spend all their time together and, by the time they were ten, they seemed to have their own secret language and could communicate with a look and a nod. Much to the exasperation of their sister, who was often the target in their childish games, poor Molly learned the hard way how to handle hyperactive children. She normally had to baby-sit her siblings while her parents were at work.
Fay’s mother and father both work in the Ministry and the whole family are very much involved in politics, though they sometimes disagree with the way things are run. Because of their good jobs, the Prewett family are moderately well off. They’re not quite rich but they’re more content and happy earning their money anyway. Fay and Gideon even have part times jobs in the Leaky Cauldron during the summer holidays away from Hogwarts.
The twins were brought up surrounded by magic and they were always keen to try it out for themselves. Gideon liked to find out as much as he could about the magical world whereas Fay was far more keen to grab a shot of Molly’s wand when she wasn’t looking, resulting in many burnt eyebrows and much spilt pumpkin juice.
It was no surprise when both siblings received their Hogwarts letters and headed off to the prestigious school. Sorted into Gryffindor, they both fitted in rather well and were pleased that they weren’t split up.
Fay has done well at school. She’s never been as good as his brother, grade-wise, but she still managed to scrape pretty decent passes in most of her subjects with a bit of study. She’s far more interested in practical subjects, such as Potions and Care of Magical Creatures, where she can get his hands dirty. But she has absolutely no problem admitting ‘She can’t do Transfiguration for knuts.’ She’ll just copy off her brother. That’s what they’re for, eh?

Character's Personality:
Fay is pretty confident and self-assured. She tends to breeze through life and leaves the worrying to other people. She’s more of a ‘shoot first, ask questions later’ kind of girl. Unfortunately, that leads to a few mistakes on her part but she tends to get over it and not make the same mistake twice. Unless, of course, the mistake is very nice looking.
She is kept grounded by her brother and her friends, whom he cares deeply about. Fay is very loyal and protective and would do anything for those she loves. She hates when her friends are upset and sometimes goes to ridiculous lengths to get a smile on their faces. She’s happiest when she’s just hanging around and having a laugh with her mates and is normally up for any sort of joking around. She doesn’t have any terribly great plans for the future and is happy just to take things as they come. She’s currently training as a Cursebreaker for Gringott’s bank and is enjoying that thoroughly. Fay is very much of an idealist, even when it’s not practical. But she’s also determined and if she wants to do something, she will get it done.
Though she’s not very confrontational, Fay has a very strong set of morals and isn’t afraid to let her opinions be known. She’s very opinionated and will stick to his point despite the circumstances. Growing up with such a politically involved family, Fay has developed a belief that the problems in the world are nothing to do with blood, but more to do with the superiority that some people believe they have. She doesn’t treat muggleborns any differently to how she does purebloods. She doesn’t really treat anyone badly. Unless, understandably, they are an arse and she just doesn’t want to bother herself with them.
Growing up so close to her brother turned Fay into a bit of a tomboy. She’s herself and she’s proud of it. She’ll act how she wants to act and won’t take rubbish from anyone just because she’s a little different. As her brother says, she’s just a boy with a pair of tits, really.
